Ballard’s Off Road is operated by BALLARDS EMX PTY LTD (ABN 20 492 832 125) (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through ballards.cc and our social media channels, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Buying Ballard’s products. Ballard’s products are sold exclusively through MXstore. When you shop there, your order, account and payment information is collected and handled under MXstore’s privacy policy, not this one. We do not take orders or payments through ballards.cc.
You can browse ballards.cc without telling us who you are. If you contact us, you can use a pseudonym where practicable, though we may need your real details to answer product or warranty questions.
-Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you contact us or use our contact form.
-Enquiry information: the content of your message, such as product, fitment or warranty questions, and any photos you send.
-Technical information: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and similar data, collected through cookies and analytics (see section 9).
We do not collect payment card details or other financial information through this website.
We collect information directly from you when you fill in our contact form, email or phone us, or message us on social media. Technical information is collected automatically when you use our website.
If we receive personal information we did not ask for and could not have collected ourselves, we will destroy or de-identify it where lawful and reasonable to do so.
We use personal information to:
-respond to your enquiries, including product, fitment and warranty questions;
-pass warranty or order questions to MXstore where they need to handle them;
-send you updates and news, if you have subscribed;
-understand how our website is used and improve it; and
-comply with our legal obligations.
We will only use or disclose your information for another purpose with your consent, or where the Privacy Act permits it.
We will only send you marketing by email or SMS with your consent, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every message includes a simple way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us (section 15).

-MXstore and our related companies, where needed to handle your order, warranty or product enquiry;
-service providers who support our website and communications, such as hosting, email and analytics providers;
-law enforcement, regulators or others, where required or authorised by law; and
-a buyer or successor in connection with a sale or restructure of our business, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We require our service providers to protect personal information and use it only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Some of our service providers, such as website hosting, email and analytics platforms, may store or process information outside Australia. Before disclosing information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs.
